Our bodies naturally try to maintain the proper pH balance. But people who eat too much protein tend
push their system acidic and people who eat too many fruits and vegetables tend to be alkaline.
Most people are acidic when tested. Most people do not get the 5 to 12 servings
of several types of fruits and vegetables that we should have every day. Being too acidic or
alkaline for prolonged periods of time leads to a diseased state. Being pH
balanced is necessary so our bodies can release toxins, fight off foreign
